Description
In The Miserable Mill, the unfortunate Baudelaire orphans—Violet, Klaus, and Sunny—are sent to work at the grim and mysterious Lucky Smells Lumbermill. Instead of finding a safe home, they’re forced into hard labor, horrible meals (gum for lunch!), and strict rules, all under the watchful eye of Mr. Sir, the mill’s cold and clueless manager.
But Count Olaf isn’t far behind. He appears once again in a new disguise, plotting yet another scheme to steal the Baudelaire fortune. This time, the villain uses hypnosis to manipulate the children, and Klaus falls under his spell, putting all three in grave danger.
To escape Olaf’s clutches, Violet must rely on her incredible inventing skills, and the siblings must uncover the truth behind the strange events at the mill—before it’s too late.
