Description
In The Wide Window, the Baudelaire orphans—Violet, Klaus, and Sunny—are sent to live with their nervous and fearful Aunt Josephine, who resides in a rickety house perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking Lake Lachrymose. Aunt Josephine may love grammar, but she’s terrified of everything—from real estate agents to doorknobs.
Just when it seems life couldn’t get any stranger, Count Olaf returns in disguise—this time as the seafaring Captain Sham—with another evil plot to steal the Baudelaire fortune. When Aunt Josephine disappears under mysterious circumstances, the children must decode her final note, brave leeches, storms, and lies to uncover the truth.
