Description
Ruby and Garnet are identical twin sisters who have been inseparable all their lives. They look exactly the same but are very different inside.
-
Ruby is bold, bossy, loud, and full of big dreams — she wants to be an actress and live a glamorous life.
-
Garnet is quiet, shy, and thoughtful — she is much happier to follow Ruby’s lead than make her own decisions.
The twins live with their dad after their mother passed away. Their close bond is threatened when Dad gets a new girlfriend, Rose, and starts making huge changes to their life — including moving to a different town and sending them to a new school.
Ruby hates all of it and vows to fight back. She even dreams of running away with Garnet so they can stay together forever and avoid Rose. Garnet, meanwhile, starts secretly wanting a little bit of independence for herself, which makes Ruby feel betrayed.
As the twins start to grow apart, they both have to figure out who they really are — and whether they can still stay best friends when life pulls them in different directions.
