Toro! Toro! is a moving and intense story set against the backdrop of the Spanish Civil War. The book follows the life of Antonito, a young boy living in rural Andalusia, Spain. Antonito has a close bond with a bull calf named Paco, whom he raises with great care and love on his family farm.
